Web hosting is an industry little understood with a lot of “me-too” companies doing few exciting things which are based on 15 year old technology and concepts.

Ultraspeed Group host over 50,000 websites in the UK through a combination of true innovation and excellent customer service to the point where they are becoming disruptive in the market.

Ultraspeed Group just does hosting, this is the strict mandate, there is no straying into other market areas. Because we don’t do anything else, we have much more time to focus on providing excellent products and services, and customer service which is just focused on providing hosting for websites.

Over the next few years, Ultraspeed Group will continue to focus on providing managed hosting for mid size business, as well as providing shared hosting services and domain registration for small business.

History

Ultraspeed started back in 1998 from a bedroom in North London. Fortunately things have moved on since then.

In late 2005 Ultraspeed moved into its current offices in Shoreditch, a strategic decision to bring the entire team together for the first time. Over the course of 2006, considerable progress has been made in Ultraspeed’s mission – one major datacentre move, one aquisition of a competitor, one new fully redundant Cisco network, new brand and website as well as much more. (All this while providing customers with the service they’ve come to expect from us, it’s worth adding!)

In Summer 2007 Ultraspeed launched its Diskless Server System (DSS) – its ground breaking managed server hosting product based on servers without hard drives.

On 27th August 2007 Ultraspeed UK Limited acquired the share capital of Hostroute.com Limited, effecting a a merger between the two businesses, under the Ultraspeed Group banner.

Ultraspeed Group as of formation, has over 50,000 websites under management and is a top ten hosting company in the UK.

Ultraspeed Group is privately owned by its directors and is expected to profitable in its first year of trading as one business.
