Ultraspeed have two distinct products accommodating different types of clients. Every client is taken care of by a highly experienced Ultraspeed systems engineer responsible for designing their environment. Ultimately it is the client who must sign-off on the design, so they can be sure of getting the right hosting solution for their needs
Simple
Simple is for clients who want Ultraspeed’s Managed Cloud platform but only require a few servers. With Simple, clients have their own virtual servers and are guaranteed resources from a centralised pool of hardware, as well as having access to Ultraspeed’s advanced services – such as a Managed Firewall and Managed Load Balancing.Infrastructure
For clients with more complex requirements, Infrastructure is built on the concept of housing virtual servers on their own dedicated physical server. Clients using Infrastructure have more options when it comes to configuring how CPU and RAM resources are assigned to individual servers, and can match their virtual servers to the appropriate physical server for improved capacity and performance.Why Ultraspeed?

Why Go With Ultraspeed Managed Cloud?
Managed Hosting can either be delivered using a traditional hard disk platform or a virtual Storage Array Network (SAN) based solution. Ultraspeed has adopted the SAN method because of potential disadvantages in the traditional method:
A disk-based server means having to physically replace the failed hard drive(s) which can take hours. In the meantime, the server and potentially the Managed Hosting solution are down and not available.
After a hard drive(s) failure, the server has to be reloaded with both the operating system and the data (assuming the data is even backed up off-server). Again this can take hours or even days.
In addition, local hard drive performance can be slow when websites/applications have high disk IO (Input/Output) requirements.
