Managed Hosting / Infrastructure

Ultraspeed's flagship Managed Hosting solution, Infrastructure is designed to deliver continuous service for the most demanding applications, providing virtually unlimited scaling and built-in disaster recovery. Infrastructure is the managed hosting platform of choice for clients who need an extremely flexible cloud service guaranteed, including FTSE 250 companies, private companies who conduct all their business online, and charitable organisations who rely on their site to drive donations.

With Infrastructure, clients are provisioned their own dedicated physical server, giving extensive configuration options and the scaling capacity to cope with heavy demand.

Storage and Disaster Recovery

A key element of Ultraspeed's managed cloud platform is Ultraspeed’s storage feature, where data is securely stored off-server. More storage can be added to an environment at any time, purchased in blocks of 10GB, and scaling up is swift and seamless.

For data recovery reasons data is replicated every week to Ultraspeed's data centre in Amsterdam. For clients with more demanding managed hosting requirements Ultraspeed offers daily or hourly asynchronous data replication as an upgrade.

UltraScale

Ultraspeed deploy clustered load balancing appliances, fully managed and individually designed for each client environment.

For clients who take the UltraScale load balancing service option, Ultraspeed offer SSL (Secure Socket Layer) offloading, and session persistence by IP, by cookies, or by jsession as standard. These give potential options to clients whose Apps do not typically function with load balancers.

Additionally, SSL certificates can be installed on the load balancing cluster, eliminating the need to have multiple certificates on multiple servers.

UltraSecure

The UltraSecure service offers IPS, IPv6 routing and advanced VPN (Virtual Private Network) features, as well as enterprise managed firewall features. Managed firewalls are deployed on a dedicated basis per client platform, and are configured in high availability pairs for hitless failover and maximum uptime.
